Interesting things about me: I once received life advice from Gene Simmons of KISS (that I didn't take). People call me the unofficial mayor of Asheville. I co-hosted a morning radio show for 4 years before joining Remix Weddings as a full-time DJ.
Favorite genre of music to spin: 2007-2012 era hip hop. Filled with songs that absolutely SLAP! Lil Wayne, Lil Jon, Usher, T-Pain, T.I., just a golden era of party jams.

My name is Kipper (it’s a nickname that has stuck since childhood). I’m your go-to DJ for crafting unforgettable musical journeys. My passion for DJing ignited in high school, watching DJs skillfully mix records and hype up the crowd. Thanks to my parents, who cashed in my savings bonds, I got my first set of decks (1200’s) and a Vestax Mixer.
At 16, I became a standout DJ at raves, and soon enough, I was opening on the main stage at a festival for over 5,000 people before even finishing high school. Initially, I dove into house and EDM, but as I began DJing in bars and nightclubs my style evolved into more of an open format, embracing hip hop, pop, and throwbacks, focusing on energizing the crowd and reading their vibe.
Today, I bring my expertise to weddings across Asheville, with over a decade of wedding experience. I pride myself on creating personalized playlists that reflect each couple's unique tastes, ensuring that everyone—from the youngest guests to the grandparents—hit the dance floor.
From cozy mountain cabin weddings to grand multi-day celebrations, I approach each event with meticulous preparation and dedication. My dynamic DJ style keeps the momentum high, blending tracks from different eras and genres to keep everyone dancing.
Outside of DJing, I cherish time with my amazing wife Hannah, our baby Bizzy, and our 16-year-old Maltipoo, Tucker, who still believes he’s the boss. Cooking for loved ones and hosting gatherings are my greatest joy, as acts of service are my love language.
